Wounded Healers Institute (WHI) is a Recovery-based Psychedelic Research and Re-Education Institute. We are providing the education for the new/old profession of Healer. We specialize in unconscious qualitative and implicit learning from dissociative healing phenomena, altered states of consciousness, psychedelic medicines, trauma resolution, and memory healing.

Through our Addiction as Dissociation Model research (ADM), Path of the Wounded Healer (PWH), Meeting Area Screening and Assessment (MASA), Neuro-regulation, and various trauma resolution methods we help people learn to and heal from developmental trauma, normative dissociation, universal addictions, moral injury, existential crises, and spiritual healing to ensure psychedelic healing transformation happens.

Through our re-education and training program, we help activate states of healing so participants can learn to heal themselves. As we explore the sensitive nature of human existence, we offer the relationship people need so they can do their deepest healing. We offer psychedelic integration, education, and healing for individuals and communities.

We re-educate on eternal truths that lies within our shared collective memory. We relate ethical, moral, recovery, and spiritual principles to healing intergenerational, developmental trauma, and moral injury with psychedelic medicines and meditative practices. We condition resiliency through regulation and support adaptive dissociation with our posttraumatic online gym and mental spa. We support those who are healing already and help those who are not.

More about WHI...

Our Mission Statement

Through the Addiction as Dissociation Model (ADM), our mission is to explore areas of posttraumatic growth and performance enhancement in individuals, families, communities, systems, societies, and cultures when healing or recovering from normative to pathological trauma, dissociation, and addiction.

Action Statement

We will execute the mission statement through experiential education/training, support personal development, professional growth, advocacy on integrated findings, and provide an independent check on the foundations of qualitative and quantitative research.

Social Equity Statement

We believe that all humans deserve individual freedom of choice to live their life according to their values, personal philosophy, and traditional reasonings. We acknowledge the importance of anti-racism and anti-oppression work as imperative for all life and as a pillar of trauma-focused care. Moreover, we believe that one must understand the unconscious processes of dissociation and addiction in order for one to be truly trauma-informed.
