Addiction Made

by No-Ná Mé

Everything is in their own brevity of awareness.
As the memory of the song wails and cries,
the cosmic game, hide-and-go-seek, ends in eternity.
Where nothing begins and everything dies with certainty.

In the generational tide,
we must all subside.
as there can no longer only be the “we”
because we are a “they” and to them we are free.
No longer is there only the “I”,
because the unconscious ego has been defined, as the physical body.

We know we exist because our body experiences our reality,
and we feel it as energy in the process of love, life, and death.
As if death were only a word that has the meaning we prescribe,
we are all derived from the meaning of our tribe.
Nowhere is it written, once impermanence sets in.
Now is here, as curiosities settles within.

In each moment there is only the breath,
In every sigh, there is respect.
As each moment is its’ own birth and death,
we bequeath onto you, this vision of being one,
with what reality is when the many take the view.

While everything’s certain,
audiences only observe the curtain.
and as if the weather were changing,
we become what we were aging.
When nothing relieves us of our pain,
we try, try, try, try and then feign.

When something might,
we begin the fight.
When death comes to us all,
we will realize how big is small.
When life breathes again,
we become what we send.

Nothing is more than pretend,
for what does it all really mean in the end?
We become what we lend
and nothing can be anything more than
what it is in the end.
