Healing Retreats with Dr. Adame Announcements and Updates
Path of the Wounded Healer (Intensive Format Outlined) More is outlined in our orientation process.
Imagine that you have something that is stuck within you that is causing distress and/or is impacting your quality of life like a splinter. Imagine going to a healer to do healing work together for a two, or four or an eight hour visit, working through what is creating pressure and releasing it in real time. Well, as a preventative way of maintaining your personal and professional life, we offer a way of healing your deepest wounds (without interrupting your daily life… too much). We also offer the peer and professional support that is often lacking in client care. This lacking is often due to resources, therefore, our retreat model is also combined with our gym model (as our psychedelic integration process).
Our Intensive Trauma Retreat approach, whether or not you are working with psychedelic medicines or not, there is clearly a need to have longer sessions when doing trauma healing and maintenance recovery work. Our PWH programming prepares people for this, does it with them, and offers aftercare. Our ongoing programming helps build resiliency, trains core strength for neuro-training, and enhances performance.
Our intensive model involves greeting someone to the big goodbye (ego death). We orient people to our approach and our overall impression of where psychology stands today. First, we have first contact, which we get a lot of information. Second, we offer a 1-hour consultation where you do the Meeting Area (MASA) or a 2-3 hour intake where we do the Meeting Area>Two Containers>Bulk Blink>Toxic Shame (clearing out developmental trauma). Third, we prepare people for their path.
In the longer retreat style session, we can hit the ground running. If that is what you need or want to do. Basically, with our model and trauma resolution methods like Brainspotting and psychedelics (trauma reprocessing). We do the same thing in 4-hours as we would in (4) 1-hour weekly sessions. But with some recent advances in trauma resolution, we can start with a 2-hour (or 4-hour) session to see if they would be helpful. This 2-4 hour meeting is our Meeting Area Screening and Assessment (MASA). MASA is the start to your process. The outcome of MASA is dependent on your immediate and unconscious needs.
This is the start to our psychedelic and recovery gym to ensure integration and proper application of these healing supplements. Our work defines psychological healing as memory reconsolidation that is accessed through common dissociative states of consciousness that people may be unfamiliar with. Our recovery research presents a common sense and reasonable answer to what addictions really are.
For the person who has been in a healing process, they usually either get an idea of what they need to do to get unstuck or they get unstuck by doing what they need to and what trauma resolution helps with. In the first few 15 minutes we present a few ideas and practices and we see if they fit for you. You give me some feedback and we see if it is good for you to move forward. Our experience is that people with immediate needs are able to respond to the information we present and people who have been in therapy and are in need of a surgery to help break through some blocks or stuck points in other areas, are better able to get what rapid memory reconsolidation offers. By the end, the hope is that you are going to be able to know where you are at in your healing and recovery process and know what you have to do. For those with more intensive needs (decided upon in your MASA), we offer our Weekly Path and Monthly Path and one-on-one work with Dr. Adam.
Dr. Adam has been doing retreat style work for over 10 years. He has consolidated his retreat model into a 2-4 hour Meeting Area Screening and Assessment (MASA). This is where you want to start.
Depending on need explored in the MASA, participants can decide for themselves what they length of retreat they will need. This is open enrollment. This is a crash course in recovery and healing.
We offer a month long retreat that includes Neurofeedback 2-3x a week for those whose recovery needs regulation before direct healing.
Participants can take our Orientation Class to learn more and attend our PWH Tea Time with Dr. Adam (free or donation based).
We also offer our WHI School to help create the biorhythms needed to obtain neuroregulation that are sustained states of healing used to condition calm, relaxed, and a sense of home in the body.
Healing Retreats can include (in-person): Neurofeedback 2-3x a week, intensive trauma resolution sessions, skill and enhancing performance, resiliency building, and posttraumatic growth.
People traveling to work with Dr. Adam, nationally or internationally, we have accommodations for people interested for this approach to healing and care. This approach is good for high functioning professionals and executives who need to clean their psychological house in an efficient and timely manner. This is also away to jump start one’s recovery and healing.
