Neurofeedback Training Open Model of Care Announcements and Updates

Neurofeedback was added to our approach because of the chapter in Bessel van der Kolk’s book The Body Keeps the Score. In the chapter, it discussed helping a child emotionally develop through regulation and rewards systems. We believe that this applies to all children and all inner-children. Our relational approach that promotes healing developmental, moral growth, spiritual and attachment approach offers parents, professionals, and motivated children to heal along the way.

WHI is now offering Neurofeedback for non-pathological and supportive approaches like in a gym or spa or recovery aftercare. We support healing through our developmental and attachment healing model of care. In this service, we are supporting those in trauma, dissociation, or addiction recovery and are in need of recovery services.

We incorporate educational aspects of developing model of care to highlight prevention, harm-reduction, build resiliency, performance enhancement, and promote posttraumatic growth.

We also work with gifted students and high performing athletes and academics. We combine meditation, qEEG analysis, and supportive care to produce the strongest results.

**This service is a preventative, educational, and qualitative model and process rather than a treatment model of care or diagnostics. Our research found that current diagnostic models of care and medical necessity are so far off that they need to be reevaluated in a way that will take more time and effort than it is worth; therefore, because our research found the line of pathology and our model’s research is based on evidence-based practices, common sense standards, and moral-ethics we can honor a non-pathologizing and open source model for everyone.

*Reduced rates for NFB are based on interns and are for 30 min only, once the MASA and Orientation Class and process is completed.

As a part of our psychedelic care (O’Brien, 2023c; O’Brien, 2024a; O’Brien, 2025), we suggest that anyone using psychedelics to support their healing maintenance have a brain scan, learn from our models of healing and neuroregulation, and get support from an experienced sitter, guide, and healer who has been there and come back.
