What PWH Path is Right for you?
There are many paths in life… but only one healing path that includes them all…
Welcome to the path options with the Wounded Healers Institute. We work with individuals, citizens, groups, students, parents, schools, and communities to better help and support them in learning about psychology, healing, health, wellness, consciousness, and our memory healing research.
Interested in our work? Align with our research? Want to know more? This is a good place to start…
The Wounded Healers Institute webpage is the start to the Path of the Wounded Healer. However, usually finding your path would be easier with some direction.
First, Wounded Healers Institute offers participants personal wellness trainers, healing experiences, and personal healers to help everyone on their healing journey. We are people who have been there and come back… and have something to tell you or update you on. This is different from a clinical therapeutic relationship that “therapizes” through their lens of pathology, but because our process is a learning model and we are re-educating on what was missed, we need to ensure that you have a clear understanding of what you are involving yourself with us research wise. We are an educational research institutes that publishes our observations through the lens of our foundational research, known as the Addiction as Dissociation Model. Our research founded the Path of the Wounded Healer (PWH).
We are researching how people learn over the course of a life span to help psychological or dissociative processes by being adaptive. This is in an effort to help prevent mental health conditions, addictions, and abuse. We do this by supporting the tenets of neurobiological research, positive psychology, recovery principles, and authenticity. Second, we are supporting everyone’s individual learning about our work and self and others, therefore, our process is a little be different then a typical learning environment.
Here are the steps…
Have you have been through something that you wish you could find someone who had been through a similar thing? We have seen this with navigating the medical and psychological professions, but know it happens elsewhere as well. Starting to explore psychedelics because what they are doing isn’t working for you? What a guide? What a Healer? What an educator (e.g., one who leads)?
What this blogs offers the reader is an overview of what is available to you. The path you choose is yours. If it is with us, great, if not, we hope you found something useful.
