WHI’s Psychedelic Care Path – Announcements and Updates

Psychedelic Care is an educational service that WHI and Dr. Adam provides to help counter the narrative that psychedelics are drugs or dangerous drugs when science has shown that they are agents of healing, activate dissociative states of healing, or are healing agents themselves (O’Brien, 2023a).

Psychedelic Care is a direct response to D.A.R.E., continued “war on drugs”, current ketamine protocols, psychology’s lack of key definitions (addiction, dissociation, unconscious)(O’Brien, 2023a), lack of psychedelic integration in current models of psychiatric and healthcare, and because recovery principles are what govern our Moral-Ethics (O’Brien, 2025) in the new profession of Healer (O’Brien, 2023c; O’Brien, 2025).

As a part of our psychedelic care and dissociation education (O’Brien, 2023c; O’Brien, 2024a; O’Brien, 2025), we suggest that anyone using psychedelics (cannabis, mushrooms, or other) or dissociatives (alcohol, opiates, ketamine, and others) or empathogens (MDMA) to support their healing maintenance 1) get a qEEG brain scan, 2) learn from our models of healing and neuroregulation (Addiction as Dissociation Model (ADM), Meetings Area Screening and Assessment (MASA) and Path of the Wounded Healer (PWH)), 3) and get support from an experienced sitter, guide, and healer who has been there and come back. This path can be followed at any time. Prior to initiating any psychedelic experience would be ideal. We suggest the same for all psychological and medical professionals (as if they were different).

Born out of our lived experience, we caution people from using psychedelics without a proper screening and assessment (MASA). We offer trainings to professionals. We offer a parenting program and free (donation based) access to Dr. Adam (Tea Time with Dr. Adam (HERE). Please read our blog material and feel free to connect with us.

WHI Psychedelic Care offers our Addiction as Dissociation Model research, Path of the Wounded Healer education on memory healing, a psychedelic integration pre/post gym, education on microdosing, and live healing events. From our personal trainer, positive psychology, wellness care, and recovery-based professions perspective, our work provides a flexible way of learning how to heal yourself. We are educating on healing so more healings are happening.
